1. Employers Choice Plus Featured in Business Courier’s Fast 55
November 2009 - The Business Courier announced ECP as one of the 55
fastest-growing companies in the Cincinnati area in 2009. The program recognizes the 15-county region’s
fastest-growing private companies. ECP, as one of the 55 finalists, will be honored at the Fast 55 awards
luncheon, where winners will be named in five revenue categories.
2. ECP Launches New Radio Campaign
November 2009 - Tune in to 55KRC and 700WLW to hear Employers Choice Plus’
new radio campaign. These two powerful talk radio stations are favorites of Greater Cincinnati businesses
and organizations.

3. Connie Matchett featured in Cincy Magazine
October 2009 - Connie Matchett, Group Rating Director at Employers
Choice Plus, was featured in Cincy magazine’s October/November 2009 issue in the “Ask the Experts” section.
When asked what types of changes we can expect from the BWC in the upcoming group rating year, Connie
responded:
“Once again the BWC is making changes that impact companies and their potential group discount.
One of the most important is that the maximum discount is expected not to exceed -65 percent.
Furthermore, the BWC is expected to continue the group rating assessment factor to all group rating
participants. These are just some of the reasons why having an experienced and competent TPA to advise
you on all programs, discounts and group plans is essential.”
4. Employers Choice Plus partners with Springboro Chamber of Commerce
October 2009 - Employers Choice Plus and the Springboro Chamber of Commerce
recently formed an alliance to provide Chamber members with worker’s compensation and additional business

John Cacaro, President of Employers Choice Plus, was interviewed by Erik Cassano
and featured in the “Smart Leaders” section in Smart Business Magazine. In the front and center feature,

9. ECP launches new outdoor campaign in December 2008
ECP’s first-ever outdoor showing included a 14’x48’ rotating bulletin,
featuring the company’s new logo and branding graphics.
10. ECP launches new, expanded web site in January 2009
ECP deployed its new customer-friendly web site, which provides users with a
helpful variety of information and required forms for many worker’s compensation and human resource needs.
The new site allows customers to more effectively manage their business and allows access to employer records.

business startups on 55KRC “Ask the Experts” with Brian Thomas
CEO John Cacaro offered listeners and call in audiences important facts and information
on starting and growing a business. He discussed how to establish a legal framework and the importance of providing
worker’s compensation, health care and employee benefits within state and federal guidelines.

provide payroll services

13. ECP’s Ben Herndon featured in “Ask the Expert” – Cincy Business
Ben Herndon, ECP Director of Sales & Marketing, was asked by
Cincy Business’ “Ask the Expert” to explain how companies can lower their Ohio Worker’s Compensation rates and premiums.
Ben explained how an experienced Third Party Administrator (TPA) can design a solution to include a 15K medical management program.
This allows the employer to pay its choice of medical claims up to $15,000, apply for handicap reimbursements and
take advantage of attractive group rating discounts.
